This exercise is a really great full body exercise but focusing on the core and upper. Planks are a great way to strengthen your abs and this one doubles it by strengthening your arms too! Start out in a low plank position and lift up one hand at a time to a high plank, then back down to low. Repeat for 30 seconds, 4 rounds. If you feel that it's too much to start out with, break it up and do 2 rounds in the morning and 2 rounds at night.
My new favorite recipe! Swiss chard is an excellent source of Vitamin A, C, and K as well as magnesium, iron, and fiber! Plus...one cup only packs about 35 calories!
chopped Swiss chard
a little EVOO
Sautee garlic and EVOO in pan till garlic is golden and add shallots and Swiss chard till softened and serve! Super easy side dish and so yummy!
