As much as I love health and fitness, for so long I've been afraid of weight lifting. Just simply being afraid of walking into a gym and not knowing what to do, or looking silly. But I know for me personally and my goals that I'm seeking, I have to incorporate heavy weights to my routine. So what did I do? I saved my money and got a trainer to teach me specifically all about weight lifting and you know what?! It's been SO much fun and not scary at all! I have found something new that I'm passionate about and for so long I missed out on something I love because I was scared. It's silly really and it sucks I wasted so much time being "scared."
What's holding you back today? What fear do you have? Do yourself a favor, grab a sheet of paper and write down the worst case scenario that could happen if you faced your fear. Chances are, it's really not that big and there's an even greater chance that it'll never even happen. Don't let fear hold you back today from becoming a better, stronger you.
